FREE-VALVE Pneuamtic wafer Inflatable seated Butterfly Valve includes an inflatable seat ,the seat is typically a resilient liner that can be inflated or deflated,as opposed to traditional butterfly valves that rely on friction for sealing.Inflatable seats have a creative design that blends the traditional butterfly valve features with the special attribute of an inflatable seat. When the seat is inflated ,it presses against the valve disc and closes off the flow of fluid. The disc rotates when the seat is deflated to allow fluid to flow through the valve and reduce friction between the seat and the disc ,the inflatable seat makes it possible for the disc to rotate easily and with less force. This effective design not only makes the valve easier to use, but it also prolongs its service life by minimizing component wear and tear.
- The valve rotates into the closing position, the disc makes only casual contact with the inflatable seat, reducing friction and torque requirements.The seat inflates against the disc providing more sealing surface and an even pressure distribution against the disc after the valve is closed.
- The seat is first deflated when the valve is about to open. The disc is then free to rotate to the open position without rubbing against the seat.
- The inflation pushes the inflatable seat tightly against the disc, creating a tight seal, which achieves zero leakage.This designing makes the inflatable seat butterfly valve distinct from traditional butterfly valves.
- The disc does not rub against the seat during operation, reducing the wear and tear on the disc and the seat, prolonging the valve's service life.
- Suitable for handling both liquids ,dry bulk materials and slurry applications.
